Avectous Introduces Warehouse Execution System (WES) to Enhance Real-Time Fulfillment Performance
Jan 11, 2025
Santa Ana, CA – Avectous today announced the launch of its Warehouse Execution System (WES), a next-generation orchestration layer built to enhance the performance of modern warehouse automation, including robotics, autonomous systems, and AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems) environments.
As fulfillment centers rapidly evolve beyond manual operations, traditional Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) are no longer sufficient to coordinate the speed and complexity of robotic and automated workflows. Avectous’ WES is designed to bridge this gap by intelligently synchronizing real-time execution across warehouse systems, robotics, and human labor.
The WES operates as a dynamic control layer above the WMS, translating order and inventory data into optimized, real-time execution decisions. This includes orchestrating task flow between robotic picking systems, AS/RS storage and retrieval units, conveyor networks, and human operators to maximize throughput and minimize system congestion.
“Warehouses are becoming highly orchestrated robotic ecosystems,” said an Avectous spokesperson. “Our WES is designed to act as the intelligence layer that connects automation, robotics, and workforce activity into a single, real-time execution engine.”
The introduction of WES reflects Avectous’ continued investment in next-generation fulfillment technology, supporting retailers, brands, and logistics operators transitioning toward highly automated, high-velocity warehouse environments.
